Nice looking fishing magnet. Easy to use. Functions as it should. Fairly strong. Holds heavier items well.
tried out the new magnet and I was fairly disappointed with it, although it does work the magnetic strength doesn't seem any where as strong as advertised. Save your money for a stronger magnet.
Pros: comes with lots of accessories. Works.Cons: might be strong as is described, but wasn’t as strong as was expected. Magnet had trouble picking up small pieces of steel in grass and items could be pulled back off pretty easily. Haven’t tried in water but was underwhelmed by its performance on land.
Perfect little kit, bought it for my dad on a whim one day down at the river. He really enjoyed watching those magnet fishing videos on YouTube. Never really caught anything interesting, but it definitely did its job!
I don't give reviews right away because too many people thing that just because it's new, it's wonderful. We bought this 3 years ago for our son and have been using it for 3 years now. I have no complaints about it. 1000 pound magnet??? I don't foresee that but for pulling up bikes and other lost treasures it's been great.It's been a hit with his friends when we go to a body of water and we take this with. Just like regular fishing, you catch stuff sometimes and you don't catch anything the next time.
